North Louisianas' Best Kept Secret
A great place to start, a great place to stay!
Vivian is home to friendly people who simply want to enjoy a leisurely lifestyle. Our mild climate allows us to have many year-round activities like the Louisiana Redbud festival held the third Saturday of March, the Black History Parade held the third weekend in February and the Annual Christmas Festival held the first Saturday of December in downtown Vivian.

There are also excellent public and private facilities throughout the area for golfing, tennis, swimming and boating. Hunters and fishermen will find plenty of land and waterways for their outdoor activities. Caddo Lake, Black Bayou, and the Red River are the center points of outdoor activities.

Vivian is located in the Northern most part of Louisiana, about 30 miles north of Shreveport with three interstate highways - I-30 to the North and I-20 to the South and I-49 which will be opened soon.
